Allen University Looks to Complete Season Sweep of Rival Benedict College

COLUMBIA, S.C. (November 3, 2026) – The Allen University women's volleyball team will make the short trip across the street on Tuesday, November 3, to face crosstown rival Benedict College in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) matchup. First serve is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at HRC Arena.

The Yellow Jackets enter the contest looking to build on their previous victory over the Tigers, when Allen captured a thrilling five-set win (15-25, 25-19, 18-25, 25-22, 17-15) at Adams Gymnasium on October 15. The victory marked Allen's first win over Benedict in the series since 2022, ending a four-year losing streak against its crosstown rival.

In their previous meeting, Saige Bradley led the Yellow Jackets with 12 kills and 5.5 blocks, while Neriya Kindred contributed 10 kills. JaNiya Lamar delivered an outstanding defensive performance with 30 digs and three service aces, helping Allen secure the comeback victory.

Allen's resilience and defensive effort proved critical in the five-set thriller, as the Yellow Jackets recorded 70 digs and 15 team blocks.
