ELON, N.C. --- In their second meet of the outdoor season, the Allen University women's track and field team saw Caseyona Hight and Measha Jones each place inside the top five of their respective events at the Phoenix Invitational Friday. The event was hosted by Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. 

In the 400 Hurdles, Hight placed fourth with a time of 1:08.71. Hight's time is a season-best for the sophomore, and her best mark since the 2024 SIAC Championships where she clocked a time of 1:06.41. 

In the 400m, Jones finished in third with a personal record time of 58.65. Then in the long jump, the event that Jones won the SIAC Indoor Championship in, the senior leapt a distance of 5.54m to place third. Her distance Friday is the best for Jones since the outdoor season began. 

Allen returns to action on Friday, April 4 at the Patriots Invitational in Florence, South Carolina. The event will be hosted by Francis Marion University.
