WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. --- Over the course of two days at the Camel City Sprints and Distance meet, held at the JDL Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the Allen University women's track and field team set multiple new personal records and saw Measha Jones take first place in the long jump. 

Jones, a senior from Manning, South Carolina, recorded a distance of 5.65m to set a new personal record for herself and lead the field of 43 competitors from NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III institutions. 

Joining Jones with a top-10 finish was the 4x400 relay team of Ja'Braisha Lane, Measha Jones, Keturah Walker, and Caseyona Hight, who placed sixth at a time of 4:27.74. 

Among the new personal records set for the Yellow Jackets included Amira Belk in the 60m Dash and 800m, Myiah Upshaw in the 60m Dash, Deborah Boyd in the 400m and 1000m, Siata Ouattara in the 600m and 1000m, Savannah Welborn-Zellars in the weight throw, Walker in the 200m and 800m, Lane in the 400m, and Hight in the 800m.

Allen's final indoor meet of the season is the SIAC Indoor Championships, which will take place in Louisville, Kentucky on February 20-21.
