Columbia, SC — In front of a passionate crowd that included a section of student-athletes from every corner of the Allen University sports family, the Yellow Jackets women's volleyball team dropped a tough 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-21) decision to crosstown rival Benedict College on Wednesday night inside the HRC Arena.
The defeat came despite Allen's determined energy and visible team unity, fueled by the vibrant presence of Allen's student-athletes and fans who made the short journey across the street in full support of their Lady Yellow Jackets.
Benedict's Efficiency Proves Too Much

Despite the loss, several Allen players showed fight and flashed moments of promise:
Allen posted its strongest showing in the third set, tightening the score to 25-21 before Benedict closed it out.
Next Up: Home Sweet Home
