HARROGATE, T.N. --- The Allen University women's wrestling team earned their fourth victory of the season Thursday night by defeating Lincoln Memorial University, 30-8. 

Ja'Braisha Lane and Stacy Pule opened the match with a pair of wins via forfeit at 110 and 117, respectively, to give Allen an early 10-0 advantage. Then in the 131 weight class, freshman Tykala Pruitt secured a pinfall victory in just 16 seconds to improve her personal season record to 4-2 overall. Later at 160, sophomore Cathia Timas earned a tech fall win over LMU's Sophia Walls. Closing out the Conference Carolinas clash was Morgan Thomas and Janya Rolland who each won via forfeit at 180 and 207, respectively. 

In their first year in Conference Carolinas, and just the second season as a program, Thursday's match win marked the first for the Yellow Jackets over a Conference Carolinas opponent.

Allen returns home on Saturday, January 25 to host Bluefield State in Conference Carolinas action. The match is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. inside John Hurst Adams Gymnasium.
