NEWBERRY, S.C. --- The Allen University women's wrestling team earned their third consecutive dual win, and their sixth overall this season, on Wednesday at Newberry, 30-15. 

To open the match, Ja'Braisha Lane gave Allen a 5-0 lead with a victory in the 110-weight class. After sustaining losses in the 117 and 124 weight classes, Tykala Pruitt tied the match for the Yellow Jackets, 10-10, with a pinfall win in a mere 14 seconds in the 131-weight class. Allen closed out the night by winning four of the final five matches as Lyric Drumgoole, Rakiyah Young, Morgan Thomas, and Janya Rolland all helped secure the victory over the Wolves. 

Allen concludes the program's second regular season on February 14 at 5:00 p.m. against Emory and Henry inside John Hurst Adams Gymnasium.
