COLUMBIA, S.C. — Allen University freshman standout Isis Severe continues to rewrite the record books, earning 2025–26 Conference Carolinas Second Team All-Conference honors after one of the most impressive debut seasons in program history.
Competing at 131 pounds, Severe finished the season with a dominant 14–4 overall record, highlighted by a string of podium finishes that showcased her rapid rise on the collegiate stage. She placed 3rd at the Mount Olive Open, captured 1st place at the Yellow Jackets Open, and secured another 1st-place finish at the Southern Virginia Open, establishing herself as one of the most dangerous competitors in her weight class.
Her aggressive and technical wrestling style translated into bonus-point dominance, recording seven pins and three technical falls during the season while earning national recognition with a top-five ranking in her division.
Severe's historic season reached another milestone when she became the first NCAA National Qualifier in Allen University program history, marking a breakthrough achievement not only for the freshman phenom but for the entire Lady Yellow Jackets wrestling program. The qualification represents a defining moment for a program on the rise and signals Allen's growing presence on the national wrestling stage.
She will now compete March 6–7, 2026 in Coralville, Iowa, where she will battle the nation's best for a chance to become both a national champion and All-American.
With records already broken, history already made, and the national stage awaiting, Isis Severe's freshman season isn't just impressive — it's the foundation of what could become one of the most decorated careers in Allen wrestling history.
