FRANKLIN SPRINGS, G.A. --- The sophomore season for the Allen University women's wrestling program came to a close Saturday at the NCWWC Women's Region Three Tournament. Six different Yellow Jackets competed and combined for seven match victories at the event hosted on the campus of Emmanuel University. 

In the 117 weight class, freshman Stacy Pule defeated Southern Virginia's Sadie Allred by pinfall in 1:28. Then in the 145 weight class, Cathia Timas earned victories against opponents from Huntingdon and Greensboro. Meanwhile, JahMya Hill had three wins in the 145 weight class before falling in the fifth place match. Finally in the 180 weight class, Morgan Thomas defeated a Conference Carolinas foe in Mount Olive's Cynthia Smith by an 8-3 decision. 

After starting the program from scratch prior to the 2023-2024 season, Allen finished the season with an 8-4 overall record, and a 4-3 mark in the highly competitive Conference Carolinas.
