CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- In their fourth meet of the season, the Allen University women's cross country team competed Friday at the Royals Challenge, hosted by Queens University. 

Myiah Upshaw posted the a team-best time of 25:29.34, marking her first time leading the Yellow Jackets this season. Just seconds behind Upshaw was Deborah Boyd who clocked a time of 25:52.92, and Delaney Frierson with a time of 25:56.53.

Siata Ouattara crossed the finish line after 26:18.19 and Measha Jones rounded out Allen's competitors with a time of 30:58.07. 

Up next, Allen will race against SIAC foe Benedict College in a dual meet coined the "Harden Street XC Challenge" on Tuesday, October 15.
