MACON, G.A. --- To conclude their 2024 season, the Allen University women's cross country team finished ninth at the SIAC Championships Wednesday. The event was held on the campus of Middle Georgia State University. 

Deborah Boyd posted Allen's best time at 22:47.08 to finish 24th overall, an improvement of nearly four minutes from her performance in the same event last season. Delaney Frierson also recorded a top-50 finish with a time of 25:15.75. 

Siata Ouattara crossed the finish line at 26:00.20, followed by Myiah Upshaw at 26:15.58 and Caseyona Hight at 26:31.51. Measha Jones clocked a time of 27:35.82, and Keturah Walker closed out Allen's competitors at 31:27.97.
