Box Score COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Allen University volleyball team cruised to an easy three-set win against over-matched NAIA foe, Morris College from Adams Gym Thursday night.
Allen dominated the first set 25-6 hitting .600 with 9 kills and zero errors. AU then made a few unforced errors in the the second set before coming away with a 25-13 win on 11 kills hitting .250. Finally, in the third set, AU got out to a big lead again while crushing the Hornets 25-6 on 8 kills and hitting .438. 
AU totaled 28 kills for the match and hit .412 while compiling a season-high 26 service aces led by sophomore DS 
Jayla Neely's team-high seven. Also registering six aces apiece were freshman libero 
Myra Lopez and senior OH 
Natalia Maciejewska. Lopez also added a team-best 10 digs and 3 assists as well.
Sophomore outside hitter 
Maliyah Spencer led Allen with 7 kills while hitting .462 while freshman OH 
Tahmiah Lawson recorded 4 kills and hit .500. Senior setter 
Kayla Chambliss also registered 8 assists with 4 kills, an ace and two digs. Fellow setter 
Lillian Williams also added 6 assists, an ace and two digs while freshman setter 
Heaven McKey contributed six assists as well with two aces. Sophomore middle hitter 
Jani Smith had two kills and three aces while freshman right side hitter 
Shelly Terry had three kills and hit .750.
Allen improves to 5-2 on the season and will next head to Memphis, Tennessee to face two SIAC West opponents on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM against host Lemoyne Owen College and then Lane College at 1PM.
