Box Score AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Allen University volleyball rolled to a 3-0 sweep of non-conference foe Paine College on the road Wednesday night.
Allen won the first set 25-21 on 11 kills before cruising in the second 25-14 hitting .269 with 9 kills. AU then edged the Lady Lions 25-23 in the third set on 11 kills to clinch the match.

The win was Allen's 6th win in their last nine matches and 10th win overall on the season. Allen was led again by senior setter Kayla Chambliss, coming off her triple-double of two nights ago, as she recorded 3 kills, 10 assists, 6 digs, an ace and a block while fellow setter, freshman Jayda Woodson had a solid night also leading the team with 13 assists.

Freshman outside hitter Tahmiah Lawson led the Lady Yellow Jackets with 12 kills hitting .167 while middle hitters Sydney Ross and senior Marlaysia Westbrook played well too. They combined for six kills apiece with Westbrook hitting .286 with 2 solo blocks and a dig while freshman right side hitter Dacia Lowery tallied 5 kills.

Sophomore outside hitter Maliyah Spencer had a terrific night as well playing all-around at the six rotations to help Allen get the win. She had four kills, nine digs, and an ace while freshman libero Myra Lopez had a team-best 14 digs. 

Allen, now 10-9 will next head to Charlotte on Friday to play Johnson & Wales University at 6:30 pm before going on fall break.
