A Golden Year for the Hive: Duncan Headlines Eight Yellow Jackets on SIAC All-Conference Teams

A Historic Day for Allen University Football with Eight Total All-SIAC Selections

AU Athletics News | 11/12/2025 | By Phil Jackson, Allen University Director of Sports Information and Communications

COLUMBIA, SC — On Tuesday, it became official.

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) released its 2025 All-Conference Selections, and Allen University Football made its presence felt across the board — with eight Yellow Jackets earning conference honors. Leading the list was none other than Sophomore Running Back Fabian Duncan, who was named the 2025 SIAC Player of the Year and a First Team All-SIAC selection after a season for the history books. Here is a look at Yellow Jackets earning All-SIAC honors:

First Team All-SIAC Selections

Fabian Duncan – Running Back

The bruising sophomore back etched his name into Allen University lore with a performance that will be remembered for years to come. Duncan led the SIAC in rushing yards (1,153), rushing touchdowns (14), and rushing yards per game (115), while becoming the first 1,000-yard rusher in school history. His 46-carry, 242-yard performance vs. Clark Atlanta shattered the school's single-game records. Duncan's consistency, toughness, and explosive playmaking earned him the highest individual honor in the conference — and he still has one more game to play.

Chance Bush – Offensive Line

The anchor of an offensive line many call the best in the SIAC. Bush helped pave the way for Duncan's record-breaking year and gave his quarterback time to thrive and become the conference's most efficient passers. His leadership, power, and intelligence earned him First Team All-SIAC honors as a key cog in "Da Vision," Allen's now-legendary O-Line unit.

Amarie Fleming – Defensive Line

With a relentless motor and uncoachable edge, Fleming became the SIAC's sack king, racking up 13.5 sacks in just 10 games — good for the top mark in the league. His ability to create havoc in the backfield earned him a First Team spot and solidified his reputation as one of the most feared defenders in HBCU football

 Second Team All-SIAC Selections

Jamir Dismukes – Quarterback

The field general of Allen's high-powered offense, Dismukes put together a masterful campaign. The dual-threat sophomore threw for 2,327 yards, 17 touchdowns, and led the SIAC in completion percentage (71.5%) and QB efficiency (167.0). Add in 319 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns, and you've got a dynamic playmaker who accounted for 23 total TDs and proved he's one of the best signal callers in the conference.

Zyrus Craft – Offensive Line

Known as "The Enforcer" on the line, Craft's physicality and presence set the tone for Duncan's record-breaking year and gave his quarterback time to thrive and become the conference's most efficient passers. He made Da Vision a nightmare for defenses and earned Second Team recognition for his dominant efforts in the trenches.

Lance Carson – Defensive Line

Carson brought relentless pressure throughout the season, finishing with 4.5 sacks and countless disruptions. A rock-solid performer on the line, his play helped Allen control the line of scrimmage and put opposing quarterbacks on notice.

Aeron Gresham – Defensive Back

One of the most technically sound corners in the league, Gresham was a lockdown defender all year. He tied the AU single-game interception record with 2 picks vs. Benedict and finished the season with 3 total interceptions and numerous pass breakups.

Michael Bowman – Tight End

A rare blend of size, speed, and soft hands, Bowman not only contributed as a blocker but also as a big-play target. He hauled in 19 catches for 279 yards, including two touchdowns and a long of 75 yards, proving to be one of the SIAC's most dangerous weapons at tight end.

One More Game. One More Statement.

The Yellow Jackets now shift focus to a marquee addition regular season matchup. Allen has earned a spot in the SIAC–COC Challenge, where they'll face Erskine College.

From Duncan's thunderous runs to Fleming's quarterback takedowns, from Dismukes' precision passing to Bush and Craft's wall of protection — this team has fought, climbed, and earned every yard. And now, there's one more opportunity to put it all on display.

This team has been building something all season.

Now it's time to finish it.
