COLUMBIA, SC — It was a day of legacy, leadership, and love for the game as Allen University Women's Soccer celebrated Senior Day with emotion and pride, hosting Shaw University in a spirited showdown. Despite falling 5–1, the Lady Yellow Jackets battled hard from whistle to whistle, fueled by the presence of four seniors who've helped shape the foundation of the program.

Honoring the Hive's Heartbeat
Seniors Davanye Kight, Rayven Sortor, Amyie Canales, and Rory Scott were all honored before kickoff and left everything on the field on senior day — bringing intensity, passion, and poise. Whether directing traffic, making key stops, or anchoring the midfield, these seniors showcased what it means to wear the Allen crest with pride.
"This senior class represents the soul of our program," said Head Coach [Insert Name if desired]. "They've paved the way for what we're building and did so with class, courage, and commitment."
Freshman Firepower Strikes Again
The lone goal for the Lady Jackets came from rising star Raeny Zuniga, who ripped a shot past the keeper. The freshman continues to emerge as one of the most dangerous young threats in the SIAC, blending speed, skill, and fearless finishing.
Despite the scoreline, the Lady Jackets kept pushing, with midfield playmakers showing promise and backline defenders absorbing waves of pressure. Allen created opportunities late and maintained intensity until the final whistle — a sign of the team's never-quit mentality.
