COLUMBIA, S.C. --- Allen head football coach Cedric Pearl announced Friday that 19 new Yellow Jackets have signed their national letters of intent to join the football program. The 2024 signing class features 10 high school signees and nine collegiate transfers - Robert Corbin Jr. (Central State), Fabian Duncan (Johnson C. Smith), Marcus Fleming (Maryland), Tyreshon Freeman (Southeastern Louisiana), Tamaryon Ravenel (Bluefield State), Jiawan Sanders (UNC Pembroke), Yusef Shah (Elizabeth City State), Andre Stringfield (Mesabi Range College), and Chase Tabron (Louisburg CC).
The Yellow Jackets again found success both in and surrounding the Palmetto State as 13 signees came from within a 200-mile radius of Columbia, SC. Allen's 2024 class is represented by players from seven different states including South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Ohio and New York.
The class features 11 offensive signees, seven defensive signees, and one specialist signee. Two of the signees will be early enrollees in January - Sanders and Freeman.
