COLUMBIA, S.C. — Junior Quarterback Jamir Dismukes has once again risen to the top of the conference, earning SIAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. FormWeek 11 and the final week of the regular season Dismukes delivered one of the most explosive performances in Allen University football history.

Facing Edward Waters University in the high-stakes A.M.E. Classic, Dismukes, the Cleveland, OH product took command of the moment and never looked back. The dynamic junior ignited the Yellow Jackets to a 53–30 Homecoming victory, a win that secured the No. 4 overall ranking in the SIAC — tied for one of the best finishes in program history.

But the impact didn't stop there.

With the win, Allen University was officially selected to participate in the inaugural SIAC–COC Challenge, taking place this Saturday, November 15, where the Yellow Jackets will host Erskine College at historic Bolden Stadium.

A Performance Worthy of a Spotlight

Dismukes was unstoppable from start to finish, showcasing the poise, precision, and playmaking ability that has made him one of the premier quarterbacks in HBCU football. His stat line reads like a video-game performance:

  • 23-of-32 passing
  • 284 passing yards
  • 2 passing touchdowns
  • 85 rushing yards on 17 carries
  • 1 rushing touchdown

Whether threading strikes between defenders or breaking loose on designed reads, Dismukes controlled every aspect of the offense while setting the tone for the Yellow Jackets' dominant day.

Leading the Charge

With Dismukes at the helm, Allen's offense surged to one of its highest outputs of the season, punishing Edward Waters with a balanced air-and-ground attack. His leadership kept the momentum rolling and energized a sold-out Homecoming crowd that watched the Yellow Jackets reclaim the A.M.E. Classic trophy in emphatic fashion.

On to the Challenge

Thanks to Dismukes' brilliance and Allen's complete team performance, the Yellow Jackets now prepare to take the national stage once again on Saturday for the SIAC–COC Challenge — an additional opportunity the team earned through resolve, grit, and execution.
