COLUMBIA, S.C. - Allen University and the AU Football program will be hosting Yellow Jacket Fest 2023 and the Spring Game on Saturday, April 15 from the AU Campus and eventually Westwood HS in Blythewood.

The day will begin with Open House and Tour at 10:00 AM led by a program in Adams Gym consisting of a performance from the AU Pep Band, Cheerleaders, and Dance Team. There will also be tables set up in the gym Lobby from the Admissions Dept., Financial Aid and Academic Team along with the ROTC from USC and Benedict and the Greek Student Organizations to interview the new recruits.

There will then be a campus tour for the future Allen students and prospects along with a "children's playground" with snow cones and popcorn. There will also be a cookout from 11 AM - 2 PM in the Campus Mall parking lot to celebrate Allen University and finally the Football Spring Game at 3:00 PM at Westwood High. The game will include an intra-squad scrimmage and performances from the AU Band of Gold, cheer team and dance line.

For any fans interested, there will also be an Allen Softball game beginning at 12 Noon that day as well at MLK Park as the Lady Jackets take on the Lady Rams of Albany State.

The football program will also show the new prospective recruits the renovation of their brand new Turf Practice Field being built across from the campus mall in the Higgins Hall former grass area.
