WINGATE, N.C. - The Allen University women's cross country team competed at the Bulldog 6K Stampede at Wingate University last Friday and came away with a 6th place team finish and finished just a few points behind Johnson & Wales and Francis Marion for 4th place. 

The AU Women were led by junior Cori Calloway and her 31st place finish as she ran a time of 31:00 minutes flat while sophomore Measha Jones then came in five minutes later for the Jackets in 36:23 and in 35th place.

Freshman Seniya Hairston and sophomore Ayani Taylor then came third and fourth on the team with times of 42:37 and 42:44 while freshman Kiana Pack ran a time of 44:53 also. Wingate had the winning runner in a time of 23:09.

The women will finish up their season with the SIAC Conference Meet on Friday, Nov. 4 from the Premier XC Course in Macon, Ga.
