Rock Hill, SC - Victory was in the air for AU Track and Field at last weekend's Adidas Winthrop Invitational. Leading the way was the 4x400 meter relay team, which finished 1st overall with a time of 3:24.94. AU also came up with a 2nd place overall finish from the 4x100 meter relay, with a time of 42.35. In addition to the team efforts in the relays, there were other top five finishes among the squad...

Top 5 Overall Finishes:

• 1st Place: Jakob Pennington, Ishaq Smith, Joshua Joyner, Deyandre Ruffin  (4x400 meter relay, 3:24.94 minutes)
• 2nd Place: Deyandre Ruffin, Montrell White, Reggie Jones, Jr., Pennington (4x100 meter relay, 42.35 seconds)
• 5th Place: Reggie Jones, Jr. (110 meter hurdles, 15.30 seconds)
• 5th Place: Ishaq Smith (200 meters, 22.48 seconds)

After the Easter break, AU will be back in action at the University of South Carolina on Saturday, April 10th.
