Jacksonville, FL — Allen University's Junior Quarterback Jamir Dismukes has officially claimed the #1 spot on the 2025 Quarter Phi Back National Watchlist, leading all HBCU quarterbacks in Week 5 according to the organization's press release.
Dismukes now sits atop the entire Division I and Division II field after a 286-yard performance against Albany State, proving once again why he's considered one of the premier signal-callers in the country.
The SIAC is well represented, with seven of the 15 players on the list coming from the conference. But none shine brighter than Dismukes, who leads the SIAC — and the entire list — with 1,253 passing yards on 100-of-137 attempts with 10 total touchdowns (7 passing, 3 rushing). His efficiency has been equally eye-popping, posting a 162.99 passer rating that places him among the top quarterbacks in the nation at any level. Reference:

Dismukes Remains Humble
Despite the recognition, Dismukes remains grounded — quick to credit the people around him for his success.
"It's an honor to be recognized, but awards like this are never just about one player," said Dismukes. "My offensive line (Da Vision), my receivers, my running backs, and our coaching staff — they're the reason I can do what I do. We prepare hard every week, and I just want to keep representing Allen the right way."
Eyes Still on the Prize
At 2-1 in SIAC play, the Yellow Jackets' goals remain clear: compete for, and ultimately win, a SIAC Championship. For Dismukes, the individual accolades are just fuel for a bigger mission — bringing respect and attention to a program on the rise.
