MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. --- Senior Drevon Wallace and freshman Sekou Bangoura each emerged victorious in Allen's road match Friday against a nationally-ranked Conference Carolinas opponent, No. 25 Mount Olive. 

Wallace secured a fall in 1:29 at the 149 weight class to record his 12th win of the season, and his fifth consecutive victory. Later in the 197 weight class, Bangoura earned a major decision victory, 15-4, over UMO's Nathan Hampton. It marks the second win of Bangoura's collegiate career, with both coming in Conference Carolinas duals. 

Despite their efforts, the Yellow Jackets were unable to overcome the Trojans as a team, falling 45-10. 

Allen returns to John Hurst Adams Gymnasium to begin a three-match homestand on Wednesday, January 8. The Yellow Jackets will host UNC Pembroke beginning at 5:00 p.m.
