COLUMBIA, S.C. — The stage is set.
Allen University Men's Wrestling will travel to Greenwood, S.C. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, to compete in the 2026 NCAA Super Region II Tournament, where a trip to the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships will be on the line.
Head Coach Eric Pack will lean on one of the most battle-tested lineups in the program's young history — a group of competitors who have made their presence known across the Conference Carolinas and beyond.
Leading the charge is junior standout Jerrel Baskins, who earlier this season became the highest-placing wrestler in Allen Men's Wrestling history, earning a 3rd-place finish at the Pembroke Open. Baskins has been a consistent force on the mat and was one of three Yellow Jackets named to the 2025 Conference Carolinas Preseason Watchlist — a list that also included super sophomore Dharrin Smith.
Smith has delivered a string of commanding victories this season, evolving into one of the program's most feared and disciplined competitors. His physicality and mat awareness make him one to watch as regional competition intensifies.
First-year athlete Torrance Adkins has also sent a message to the region in his debut season, proving he can compete with high-level opponents and thrive under pressure. Meanwhile, Zahmier Baldwin continues to develop as a key contributor, rounding out a lineup that blends experience, youth, and relentless competitiveness.
With conference recognition, podium finishes, and steady growth defining their season, the Yellow Jackets enter Super Region II hungry — not just to compete, but to advance.
