For those unfamiliar with college wrestling, the night served as a reminder that there's nothing quite like the adrenaline of head-to-head competition on the mat.
Women's Team Dominates:
The Allen women's wrestling team continues to build its legacy as one of the most talked about programs in the Conference of the Carolinas (COC). Leading the charge were several standout performances:

Men's Team Fights Hard, Picks Up Highlight Victory:
While the men's squad dropped several close bouts, Jerrel Baskins delivered a huge victory at 174 lbs, scoring a technical fall 19-4 (5:29) over Cameron Hunt of Mount Olive. Several others battled competitively, including Chandler Allen, who dropped a tight 7-3 decision at heavyweight. Though Allen only registered one official match win, the experience gained from wrestling a tough Mount Olive team adds valuable fuel heading into conference season.
