COLUMBIA, S.C. --- On Wednesday evening, the Allen University men's wrestling team held a pre-match ceremony to honor four members of this year's senior class, including James Dagin, Ya'Donnis Hardaway, Christian Poplous, and Drevon Wallace. Following the ceremony, the Yellow Jackets faced off against Conference Carolinas foe Coker and were unable to overcome the Cobras, falling 38-12. 

In the 149 weight class, Drevon Wallace earned Allen's first team points of the match with a pinfall victory in 4:21 over Coker's Kymontae Wright. The victory marks the 13th of the season for Wallace, and his sixth win out of his last seven outings. 

Then in the 184 weight class, Jerrel Baskins utilized the full three periods to defeat Coker's Cephus Deas by a 9-2 decision.  

Later at 285, Chandler Allen picked up the fourth win of his sophomore season behind a 14-8 decision. 

The Yellow Jackets are back on the mat next Wednesday, January 22 at 6:00 p.m. Allen will host Belmont Abbey inside John Hurst Adams Gymnasium for the final home match of the season.
