ALBANY, G.A. --- Allen softball fell in both games of their final SIAC doubleheader of the season Friday, dropping game one at Albany State, 9-1 in five innings, and game two, 12-0 in five innings. 

GAME ONE: 
Allen scored their lone run in game one in the second inning as Jada Sanders reached on a fielding error by the Albany State left fielder, which allowed Faith Robinson to score from second base. Robinson also tallied a hit in Friday's effort, along with Tania Shoulders and Ta'Keviya Sims. Both Shoulders and Sims stole a base, as well, bringing their season totals to 12 stolen bases, and three swiped bags, respectively. 

GAME TWO: 
Later Friday evening, the Yellow Jackets recorded six hits, but were unable to plate a run in the second game of their SIAC series against the Golden Rams. Shoulders, a freshman Decatur, Georgia native, continued her strong offensive day, notching her third multi-hit performance of the season, and second of the week, going 2-for-3 with another stolen base. 

In the circle, Elissa Rich and Naziha Alfred combined to strikeout six Albany State batters through four innings of action.

Allen is set for their final SIAC contest of the regular season Saturday, April 13 in the series finale at Albany State. The first pitch in scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
