Allen Defeated in SIAC Finale against Golden Rams

ALBANY, G.A. --- In their final SIAC contest of the season, Allen softball was defeated by Albany State Saturday, 8-0 in five innings. 

The Yellow Jackets were limited to one hit in Saturday's loss, a single to left field from Jada Sanders in the second inning. Meanwhile, Albany State utilized a pair of three-run innings on their way to the run-rule win. 

In the circle, freshman Elissa Rich recorded two strikeouts in her four frames of work.

Allen returns home to MLK Park Thursday, April 18 for a cross-town non-conference doubleheader against Columbia College Thursday, April 19. First pitch in game one is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
