COLUMBIA, S.C. --- Allen softball dropped a pair of games in Saturday's doubleheader series finale at Edward Waters, falling 9-0 in five innings in game one, and then game two, 7-0.
GAME 1:
Destiny Breton and
Zykhia Crisler, both in their freshman seasons with the Yellow Jackets, each registered a hit in the loss. The duo also each added a stolen base, as well. On the pitching side,
Naziha Alfred tossed one strikeout in Saturday's effort.
GAME 2:
Later in game two, while the Yellow Jackets found more offensive success with five total hits, it would not be enough as Edward Waters took the series finale. Breton and Crisler both recorded hits once again, along with
Faith Robinson,
Elissa Rich, and
Ta'Keviya Sims. In the circle, Rich struck out a pair of Tigers through her six innings of work.
