Xavier Anderson and senior
Drevon Wallace each secured victories in Allen's dual match at King on Tuesday night, yet the Yellow Jackets as a team were unable to overcome the Tornado and fell, 39-7.
Anderson kicked-off the match at the 125 weight class with a decision win, 7-6, over King's Tyson Upchurch. This win marked the first of Anderson's collegiate career.
Later in the 149 weight class,
Drevon Wallace won his second straight dual match with a major decision win, 13-3, over King's Jamarius Koshko.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action Saturday, December 8 at the 2024 Trojan Duals in Mount Olive, North Carolina. Allen will compete in two duals, beginning at 1:00 p.m. against Emory & Henry College and followed by a 4:00 start against the host school, University of Mount Olive.
