JACKSON, T.N. --- The Allen University men's basketball team was defeated at Lane College Monday night, 66-46. 

After trailing by eight points at halftime, 29-21, Allen was able to cut the deficit they faced down to two points, 35-33, with 13:47 left to play when Mike Best sank a three-point shot. However, Lane built back up their lead across the final stretch and secured the victory. 

Allen's leading scorer Monday was Jordan Edmond with 18 points, marking the third straight contest that Edmond was finished with double figures. The redshirt sophomore forward also grabbed a team-best seven rebounds against the Dragons. Peyton Weathersby was also among the Yellow Jackets' top scorers with 10 points to go along with a team-leading three assists. 

The Yellow Jackets next game will be in Charlotte, North Carolina at Johnson C. Smith University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on December 11.
