Larkins' Double-Double Not Enough Against Benedict

COLUMBIA, S.C. --- Despite Dazzalon Larkins recording her third double-double of the season, with 11 kills and 11 digs, the Allen University volleyball team was defeated by Benedict College in three sets Wednesday (20-25, 23-25, 19-25). 

Larkins led the Yellow Jackets in kills against the Tigers, followed by Maliyah Spencer with eight and Tahmiah Lawson with five. Zyara Harrison and Sa'Nyah Daly combined for 29 assists in Wednesday's effort. Defensively, libero Amiri Mason recorded a season-best 18 digs and Jaida Hansen had the lone solo block for Allen. 

The Yellow Jackets continue SIAC play with a road match at Clark Atlanta Friday, October 25. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Atlanta, Georgia.
