COLUMBIA, SC --- By only trailing for four total minutes, Allen women's basketball saw eight different players score as the Yellow Jackets defeated Edward Waters, 77-59.
Monday's 18-point win marked Allen's largest margin of victory in SIAC play this season, and tied for the second-most point scored in a single game this season for the Yellow Jackets (95).
Allen managed to build onto their lead in the second and third quarters, outscoring the Tigers 45-33 in that span. A key role in the win was the Yellow Jackets' success at the free-throw line shooting 22-29 (75.9%) at the stripe.
Five Yellow Jackets finished in double-figures with
Mya Johnson leading the way with 15 points.
Taliah Wesley added 14 points, meanwhile
