SALISBURY, NC - The Allen University volleyball team rolled to a three-set win over Livingstone College on the road Wednesday evening.
Allen won a tight first set 27-25 before cruising 25-17 in the second and 25-21 in the third.Â
Allen piled up 14 kills in the first set while hitting .370 before only needing 7 kills in the second as they took advantage of Livingstone's 11 attack errors. Each team then recorded 12 kills apiece in the third with Allen hitting .242 and LC only .079.

Dacia Lowery as she hit an impressive .412. Junior middle
Taylor Lawrence also hit .500 with 8 kills and only one error while adding two blocks. Freshman hitter
Tahmiah Lawson played well also knocking down six kills with zero errors hitting .667 along with a block and dig.
Senior middle blocker
Marlaysia Westbrook had a strong game as well with 5 kills and 2 assists to hit .308 while fellow senior setter
Kayla Chambliss registered 8 assists and combined with fellow setter, junior
Lillian Williams for 15 on the night. Freshman libero
Myra Lopez had a stellar night complying 18 digs with 4 assists and 2 aces while fellow DS/L
Jayla Neely put up 5 assists, 4 digs, and an ace.
The Yellow Jackets improve to 4-2 on the season with the win and will next host NAIA foe Morris College tonight at 6:30 pm from Adams Gym.
