MACON, Ga. - History! The Allen University women's soccer team made school history on Wednesday rolling to a shutout win, 5-0 on the road at Wesleyan College. The win is the first in school history for the Lady Yellow Jackets. 

Allen rode the back of senior forward Acacia Small and her two goals to pick up the victory while freshman midfielder Alexia Velasquez also scored her first two goals of the season. Junior forward Aneita Lewis scored her first career goal as well. 

Junior midfielder Tonie Sledz picked up four assists for the Jackets including assisting on Velasquez's goal in the first half's sixth minute. Sledz leads the team in assists.

Allen so thoroughly dominated the game that they outshot the Lady Wolves 14-2 in the first half while scoring three goals before holding Wesleyan to zero shots in the second half by out-shooting them 12-0 in the half for a total of 26-2 for the match.
Small got AU on the board early scoring in the 4th minute of action. Two minutes later, Velasquez scored off Sledz's pass to make it 2-0. Allen then added their final goal of the half in the 10th minute as Small and Sledz hooked up with the goal and assist, respectively.

Velasquez then scored in the 67th minute off Sledz to make it 4-0 before Lewis' first goal of her career in the 77th minute off an assist from Sledz again made it 5-0. 

Allen improves to 1-3 on the season and will next return home to host Bob Jones University on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
