Toland Resigns as Women's Basketball Coach

COLUMBIA, SC - Allen University Women's Basketball Coach, Toccara Toland, has resigned her position as head coach on Friday, effective immediately.

"I appreciate the time Coach Toland served as our head women's basketball coach," commented Director of Athletics, Jasher Cox. "Efforts are underway to find her successor."


Toland served as the head coach at Allen for three seasons winning 26 games in her career and leading the Lady Jackets to a winning 14-13 record last year and 4th place in the SIAC. It was the most wins since 2019 at AU.

Allen returns eight letterwinners from last year's squad while bringing in 10 more recruits for 2023.

Assistant Coach Jaraski Davis will fill in until a full-time coach is hired.
