Clay and Jambor Earn All-SIAC Honors for Lady Yellow Jackets

Eboni Clay and Peighton Jambor recognized after helping Allen post an 18-10 record and advance in the SIAC Tournament

AU News/WBB: 3/7/2026 | By Phil Jackson, Allen University Director of Sports Information and Communications

The SIAC announced that Sophomore Guard Eboni Clay and Junior Forward Peighton Jambor have earned the right to call themselves All-Conference performers.

The honor comes on the heels of a strong season for the Allen University Lady Yellow Jackets, as both student-athletes played key roles in leading Allen to an 18-10 overall record and a 16-8 mark in SIAC play. Their leadership and production helped the Lady Yellow Jackets earn the right to host the opening round of the 2026 SIAC Women's Basketball Championship, where Allen delivered a dominant 95-41 victory over Spring Hill College to advance to Atlanta, Georgia for the conference tournament.

Although the Lady Yellow Jackets' postseason run ultimately came to an end in Atlanta, the impact of Clay and Jambor throughout the season did not go unnoticed.

Let's meet these Lady Yellow Jackets — as they need no introduction:

Clay earns All-SIAC

Eboni Clay | Sophomore Guard

Clay emerged as one of Allen's most dependable guards this season, appearing in 28 games with 26 starts while logging 819 total minutes, averaging 29.3 minutes per game. She finished the year with 302 total points, averaging 10.8 points per game, while shooting 41.8% from the field (107-256).

From long range, Clay connected on 35 three-pointers and shot 32.1% from beyond the arc, giving Allen a consistent perimeter scoring threat. At the free-throw line, she proved nearly automatic, converting 53 of 60 attempts for an impressive 88.3%.

Clay also impacted the game beyond scoring, finishing the season with 58 assists and 69 total rebounds, showing her ability to contribute as both a facilitator and playmaker for the Lady Yellow Jackets.

Jambor earns All-SIAC

Peighton Jambor | Junior Forward

Jambor anchored Allen's frontcourt and provided a steady offensive presence throughout the season. Appearing in 25 games with 17 starts, she logged 642 total minutes, averaging 25.7 minutes per contest.

The junior forward led Allen in scoring with 363 total points, averaging 14.5 points per game while shooting an efficient 47.9% from the field (138-288). Jambor also showed versatility offensively, adding eight three-pointers and converting 79 of 100 free throws (79.0%).

On the glass, Jambor was a force, pulling down 173 total rebounds, including 136 defensive boards, averaging 6.9 rebounds per game. Defensively she added 33 steals and 25 blocks, showcasing her ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.

We caught up with Jambor following the announcement, and the junior forward made it clear that while the recognition is appreciated, the team's focus remains on something bigger.

"This season has motivated me more than ever to come back even better next year," said Jambor. "Individual awards are always a blessing, but our main goal is winning the SIAC championship. That's what we're working for, and we can't let anyone stop us."

Together, Clay and Jambor formed a powerful inside-out combination for the Lady Yellow Jackets, helping Allen remain competitive throughout the season while establishing themselves among the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's most impactful performers.

Head Coach Olivia Gaines praised both players for their dedication and commitment throughout the season.

"I want to congratulate Eboni and Peighton on earning All-Conference honors," said Gaines. "These recognitions are the result of hard work, consistency, and the commitment they showed every single day in practice and in games. They both played a huge role in the success of our team this season, and I'm extremely proud of what they accomplished."

Their All-Conference recognition not only highlights their individual excellence, but also reflects the continued growth and momentum of the Allen University women's basketball program, the athletic department, and the university as a whole.
