Box Score COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Allen University women's basketball team cruised to an easy 95-53 win over visiting NAIA foe Morris College at home Monday evening.
In the first half, Allen took a 54-21 halftime lead over the Hornets shooting 46 percent overall led by 11 first half points from guard
Kash Hankerson and 12 points from fellow guard
Taliah Wesley. Morris then outscored Allen 18-14 in the third before Allen took control and won the fourth 27-14 for the 42 point win. Allen shot 40 percent for the  game and 30 percent from three.
Hankerson went on to finish with a season high 22 points on 8 of 14 shooting and 4 of 7 from three along with 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Wesley finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
Junior forward
JuJu Harrington had seven rebounds with 6 points while fellow forward
Zion Duncan had 8 points and 6 boards. Forward
Kasey Smith led with 8 rebounds, 11 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals as well while junior forward
Kourtney English had 4 points and 8 rebounds.
Sophomore point guard
Kynew Barnwell led Allen with a season-best six steals along with 4 assists and 7 points while guard Mya Johnson finished with her season-best 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
Allen improves to 2-2 and will remain home to begin SIAC play this Saturday when they host Lemoyne-Owen at 2:00 pm.
