ATLANTA, Ga. (January 24, 2023) – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its men's and women's basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday.
 
For the women, Jazmin Grayson (Benedict) was named Player of the Week, while Keyshuna Fair (Allen) earned Newcomer of the Week. Junior guard Destinee Jamison-Whitfield was also named runner-up for Player of the Week.
 
For the men, senior wing Cameron Sembly of Allen was also named Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – Keyshuna Fair, Allen

Fair, the junior transfer from Converse, helped Allen to a 2-1 week by totaling 38 points and averaging nearly 13 points per game. She scored double digits in each game and totaled 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals on the week along with four 3-pointers.

The Lady Yellow Jackets are now 9-8 on the season and 5-7 in the SIAC. They return to action on Wednesday when they head to Jacksonville to battle Edward Waters at 5:30 pm before returning home Saturday to host EWU at 2:00 PM.
