BLUFFTON, S.C. - The Allen University women's soccer team dropped their non-conference road match 8-0 to Div. II foe USC-Beaufort on Wednesday afternoon in Bluffton, SC.
The Sandsharks got off to a fast start scoring in the 6th minute of action. The game remained 1-0 until the 23rd minute when USCB scored back-to-back goals to take a 3-0 lead. Beaufort would then add three more goals over a 7-minute span to close the half up 6-0.
The first 14 minutes of the second half were scoreless until USCB put the game out of reach with two quick goals in a minute span in the 60th minute of action.

Simone Butler then attempted a corner kick in the 41st minute but could not get a shot on goal.
Allen falls to 0-6 on the season while USCB improves to 7-1. The Lady Jackets will next return home for the first time in almost a month to host Coker College on Monday afternoon at 2:00 pm from the Southeastern Freight Lines Soccer Complex.
