COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Allen University women's soccer team fell 5-0 in 70 minutes at home to nearby Div. II foe Coker University on Monday afternoon from the Southeastern Freight Lines Soccer Complex.
The match was a makeup game from early September that was rained out.
Coker improves to 4-1-2 with the win while Allen falls to 0-7.Â
Coker got on the board in the first five minutes before Allen held the Cobras scoreless for 20 minutes until Coker struck again in the 22nd minute of play. Coker would take a 2-0 lead into the break while
Allen freshman goalkeeper Jaden Keys made 9 saves in the first half.
Coker then had an onslaught of goals within the first few minutes of the second half peppering the AU defense with numerous shots while scoring 3 goals by the 50th minute to lead 5-0. However, Keys made save after save in net keeping the Yellow Jackets in the game for a bit. She finished with 5 more saves in the second half and 14 overall.
