COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Allen University women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 sweep of Morris College (SC) at home on Thursday evening at Adams Gymnasium.
Allen romped to a 25-7 first set win on 11 kills hitting .471 before winning 25-14 and 25-14 over the next two sets totaling 35 kills in the match and 13 in the final set.Â

Kayla Chambliss led the Yellow Jackets with 8 kills hitting .385 along with 8 assists and 4 aces. Setter
Jyla Clayton also led the Jackets with 18 assists and 5 digs on the night while freshman right side hitter
Cadence Leaks tallied 5 kills with 8 assists as well.
Freshman outside hitter
Maliyah Spencer hit .500 with 5 kills while freshman middle
Jani Smith posted 5 kills and 3 service aces.
Allen improves to 6-1 with their 5th straight win, extending their best start in school history and will next go across the street to play in the SIAC Crossover tournament at Benedict College on Saturday morning. The Yellow Jackets will first battle Lemoyne Owen College (TN) at 9:00 AM and then face Lane College (AL) at 1 PM.
