COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Allen men's basketball team fell to Albany State, 74-64, Saturday at Adams Gymnasium.
With the loss, Allen falls to 6-19 on the year.
The Yellow Jackets were led by Darius Williams and Stanley Christian who registered 22 points and 15 points, respectively.
Additionally, Christian added 13 rebounds and a season-high, six assists.
Reginald Reynolds tallied 12 points, joining Christian and Williams as the only Yellow Jackets to score in double figures.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was a back-and-forth affair as the two teams battled to a 31-28 ledger at the half.
- In the first half, the Yellow Jackets shot 1-8 from three.
- Albany State held a 16 point lead during the second half, but Allen refused to let the game slip away.
- For the game, Allen shot 2-16 from three-point range while Albany State shot 7-12.
- The Yellow Jackets tallied more assists than Albany State (14-8).
