COLUMBIA, S.C. - In its second game in as many days, Allen fell to Edward Waters, 66-69, Tuesday evening at Adams Gymnasium.
Alissa Jones, Aniya Keeling and Cardrina Nolen combined for 41 points to lead the Yellow Jackets. Cyntheria Sullivan also had a solid performance as she logged nine points and four assists.
Nolen has now accumulated 47 points and 14 rebounds over the last two games.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Yellow Jackets came out aggressive, jumping out to a seven point lead in the first quarter.
- Allen held Edward Waters to 6-24 shooting in the second quarter.
- The first half was tightly contested as the teams battled to a 34-31 ledger.
- After trailing by three at the break, Allen started the second half on an 8-0 run.
- Allen shot 1-10 from three for the game.
- The Yellow Jackets out-rebounded Edward Waters, 42-38.
- Allen shot 30 free-throws compared to 14 for the Tigers.
