SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Allen men's basketball team fell to Savannah State, 55-93, Saturday at Tiger Arena in Savannah, Ga.

With the loss, Allen falls to 5-17 on the year.

The Yellow Jackets were led by Darius Williams and Stanley Christian as they combined for 36 points, while combining to shoot 17-18 from the free-throw line. 

Allen fought to keep the game close but was unable to overcome seven Savannah State players scoring eight or more points.

As a team, the Yellow Jackets shot a season high 90.5% from the free-throw line.
