ATLANTA - The Allen women's basketball team fell to Clark Atlanta, 55-59, Monday night at Epps Gymnasium.

Cardrina Nolen, Jayda Jackson and Jazeem Bethea led the Yellow Jackets as they each registered a double-double, becoming the first Allen trio to notch a double-double in the same game this season. 

Nolen paced Allen with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Jackson and Bethea continued their stellar play as the duo combined for 21 points and 20 rebounds.

As a team, the Yellow Jackets out-rebounded the Panthers, 64-47, for the game.

Allen put on a spectacular defensive performance as the Yellow Jackets scored 11 points off turnovers and held Clark Atlanta to 31.3% shooting from the field and 11.8% from three. 

Allen's bench contributed significantly as it logged 20 points.

Although the contest was a back-and-forth affair, the Yellow Jackets held an eight point lead with just over three minutes remaining, but Clark Atlanta stormed back to earn the clutch victory.

The Yellow Jackets have now lost consecutive games by four points or less.
