Rakim Gregory is entering his first season as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Allen after being hired in April 2024.

Gregory, a Charleston, South Carolina native, arrives at Allen after spending the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Summerville High School (SC) from 2022-24, and at Stall High School (SC) during the 2021-22 season.
His time at Allen marks Gregory's second stint in the collegiate ranks as he served as an assistant women's basketball coach at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, an NAIA program in Goodwell, O.K., during the 2019-20 campaign.
"I would like to give thanks to Coach Gaines for another great opportunity," said Gregory. "She gave me my first coaching job in 2017, and she has been my mentor ever since. I'm honored and super excited to rejoin forces with her."
While Gaines served as the head coach at For Dorchester High School (SC) in 2017, Gregory was a member of her coaching staff.
