Sierra Smith is entering her first year as the Administrative Assistant and Budget Manager for the Allen University Athletic Department while also serving as the assistant coach with the Allen University Softball program for her upcoming second season.

A native of Fayetteville, NC, Smith played prep ball at Chapel Hill High School (Douglasville, Ga.) where she was named as the Best Defensive Player in 2013 and 2014 along with being named to the First Team All-Conference in 2014.

Collegiately, Smith started at D-1 Alabama A&M University as a catcher for three years from 2014 to 2016.
Smith then transferred to D-2 Tuskegee University (Ala.) to finish her collegiate career (2017-2019) where she received the Unsung Hero award as the team's starting catcher and helped lead the team to a Runner-Up finish in the SIAC tournament in 2019.

She graduated from Tuskegee University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences.
