Teddy Keaton will be entering his 5th season as the Head Coach and QBs Coach of the Allen Football program in 2023.
He is also the Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance and Contracts and the Sport Administrator for the Women's Basketball and Softball programs.

He led the return of football to Allen University by working to build a program in 2018, after a 15-year hiatus.

For a first-year program, the Yellow Jackets fared well by the end of the season coming away with 2 wins over Columbus and Middle GA. Keaton also won 3 contests in 2019 over Clark ATL, Columbus St., and ECSU while winning two games during the inaugural D-2 season in 2018. He then led Allen to a 4-5 record in 2021 with wins over JCSU, Columbus St., Central St., and Livingstone.
Keaton’s Allen D-2 record now sits at 9-23 overall. 

Before Allen, Keaton was the RBs coach and Recruiting Coord. at Miles College (Fairfield, AL), for two seasons.

In 2007, the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) named him Coach of the Year (2007) with the Lakeland (FL) Thunderbolts, the same year the Thunderbolts were Atlanta South Division (2006 and 2007) and AIFA Champions. He has had two coaching stints at Stillman University – 2010-16 as head coach and director of Football Operations and 1999-2004 as Special Teams and Recruiting Coordinator and Running Backs Coach. He helped Stillman University, a NCAA Division II school in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to its first back-to-back winning seasons, and regional ranking.

Coach Keaton has also coached at Webber International University (Babson Park, FL), as well as the Huntington Heroes (WV) and Odessa Roughnecks (TX) of the Arena League where he amassed a 54-26 record as head coach.

Coach Keaton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education/Psychology from Stillman College (AL).

Keaton got his Sports Management Certification in Sports Industry Essentials from Columbia University in the City of New York in 2018 - 2019. Coach Keaton is married to Brittani Keaton, the Academic Success Coord. at Allen and they have one child together, Kohen (2). Keaton also has two other children, Taylor (23), and Mackenzie (15).
