Roosevelt Green is entering his second season coaching running backs at Allen University in 2025.
Prior to his arrival at Allen, Green spent eight years at Winston Salem State University as assistant defensive backs coach, a defensive quality control coach, and assistant equipment manager. During his time at WSSU, Greene was a part of back-to-back CIAA Championship staffs in 2015 and 2016, and also made an appearance in the CIAA Championship game in 2014.
While with the Rams, Green coached Darius Skinner who led the nation with 11 interceptions and was named the 2018 Boxtorow HBCU Defensive Player of the Year.
Green also spent a season at Livingstone College, where he was the defensive backs coach and head equipment manager. During his time at LC, Kevin Larkin Jr. led the nation in interceptions with eight and was later named to All-American and All-CIAA teams.
Born in Jersey, City, New Jersey, Green is the proud father of six children: Deandre, Anthony, Arlington, Isis, and Love, who sadly passed away in 2015.
