COLUMBIA, SC — The Allen University women's basketball team continued their red-hot streak on Wednesday afternoon, dismantling Central State University 77–57 inside John Hurst Adams Gymnasium. With the win, the Lady Yellow Jackets extended their winning streak to four games and claimed sole possession of third place in the SIAC East Division, improving to 12-6 overall and 11-5 in conference play.
Despite a quick turnaround and limited rest following Thursday's win, Allen showed no signs of slowing down.
Team Performance: Locking In on Both Ends
The Lady Yellow Jackets used an explosive start and a suffocating defensive effort to set the tone early, jumping out to a 24–11 first quarter lead. Though the pace slowed in the second, Allen responded with a dominant second-half performance, outscoring the Marauders 46–28 over the final two quarters.
Allen finished the game shooting 44.1% from the field (26-of-59) and dominated in several key statistical categories:

- Peighton Jambor led the bench unit and tied for the team-high in scoring with 13 points and 5 rebounds, providing a huge lift in key moments of the game. Her energy and toughness on both ends were vital in maintaining momentum.
- Anissa Tuitt added 13 points of her own, including 2-for-4 shooting from deep, while grabbing 3 rebounds and staying active defensively.
- Morgan Smith also scored 13 points, pulled down a game-high 7 rebounds, and dished 3 assists while defending at a high level.
