On Sunday afternoon, they picked up their third straight win, defeating Kentucky State University 74–68 at Adams Gymnasium in front of a lively home crowd. With the victory, Allen improves to 11–6 overall and 10–5 in the SIAC, now sitting tied for third place in the competitive SIAC East Division.
After a slow start that saw Kentucky State hold a 17–16 edge after the first quarter, Allen responded with a dominating 21–13 second-quarter run, using defense and tempo to take a lead they would never surrender.
